About Resume Tools Review

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Why this exists

I built a resume tool called Revorian. It's good at a narrow thing: helping people tailor an existing CV to a specific job description. But product pages alone were not enough to answer the comparison searches people were already making.

So this site lives on a separate domain and focuses on a different job: comparisons, alternatives, and use-case breakdowns. The goal is to help people choose the right tool for their workflow, especially if they care about ATS matching, job-description tailoring, or career-switching.

This is not a neutral review site built by someone with no stake in the outcome. It is built by Revorian's founder. That is exactly why the disclosure, weaknesses, and competitor links are public: if the site is going to publish opinions, the reader should be able to inspect how those opinions were formed.

Disclosure

  1. 1. Separate site, same founder. ResumeTools.review is editorial content. Revorian is the product. They are intentionally not on the same domain.
  2. 2. Not a consumer-review platform. This site does not publish user star ratings, customer testimonials, or claims about what ordinary users think.
  3. 3. No paid placement. Tools do not pay to appear, rank, or be linked here.
  4. 4. No affiliate commissions. We do not earn a commission from recommending competing tools.
  5. 5. Public editorial policy. The methodology and disclosure process are published.
  6. 6. We publish tradeoffs. Every tool page includes downsides, including Revorian's.

How to read the site

The site is best read as a founder-run editorial guide, not as an independent review lab. Internally, I keep notes across recurring dimensions so the pages stay consistent, but the public-facing output is opinionated writing rather than consumer ratings.

I also avoid claims I cannot support. If a page makes a strong statement about pricing, features, or workflow, it should be traceable to either direct product inspection, a public product flow, or the published methodology.
